Like I said above, you probably gave more for the risk. Taking Schneider and his salary from the Devils is beneficial for them. - Glak18
I guess I was paying for them to retain money.
I don't know. not a fan of a lot of the goalies mentioned. I think i would pay for a guy like Schneider and see if he can regain form, almost like they did with Mason.
I think Quick will cost a high prospect and picks. |

It’s already been reported he’s ready to listen to teams. I like John Stevens as well. - SuperSchennBros
I thought I heard that he wasn't going to listen to teams until after Christmas |

Difference is Mason was 23-24 at the time. You can't value a player solely on what they did many many years ago, what can they do now. |

Did the press conference happen? I was in the car. Didn’t hear it on the radio |

Fletcher said his first duty is to trade everyone good for Lucic. Team Negative rejoices and feels better they were right. |

Either a trade or a contract that will haunt the team in the coming years. |

Undeniable proof that the Flyers employ a shoot from the point perimeter system at 5 on 5.
- Feanor
Half those point shots are from Radko Gudas |

Seems to tell a pretty clear story though i would ask is there a chart that shows all shots including anything blocked? |

Agreed, only defenseman who has been consistently getting his shot through. |

Would you rather be haunted by a Mac 5 million dollar contract or a Simmonds 6.5 million dollar contract? Not a Mac fan but I feel like Mac’s play haunts me more than his deal at this point. |

I liked what I heard from Fletcher. Really don't think he's going to come here and tear down any work Hextall did for us. |

I'll take AMac signed thru 2020 over Simmer signed thru 2025+.

Yeah pretty easy decision. AMac doesn’t handcuff our salary cap at all currently despite being overpaid. |

Say the extra 3rd rounder, Vecchione, Lyon for Schneider(25% salaray retained)
Devils get a goalie in Lyon to back up Kindkaid or send to minros and bring up one then.
Flyers clear some goalie spot to send down either Stolarz or Neuvirth if healthy.
Vecchione i don't see in future plans so maybe cost of retaining some money. - J35Bacher
I’d make that deal provided Schneider passes a physical |

What goalie that is going to be available doesn't have warts?
Most goalies available seem to be guys that have had injuries or older guys that are UFA's |

Elliott has been healthier and performed better than Schneider, and he's also much cheaper.

True. I think I'd stand pat right now and try to get a good one in the off season - unless they can make a fair deal for Bobrovsky (or any other legit, strong starter). |
