marleau is not a good fit with matthews i dont think

I've been convinced they should try Kappy there when Nylander is back. That'd be a good line if Kapanen can switch wings. Hyman lite with better scoring. Good way to look at Kapanen.

Typical Leafs game.. The opposing team gets way more shots and every idiot out there thinks the Leafs are being outplayed, then they win 6-1
- Arctic_AARDVARK

One of leafs biggest problems this year is clearing puck (shooting forehand and atrocious backhand clearing) out of their own zone

And or

Moving (skating out) puck out of own zone

this is the first time he's impressed me

either he's improved like 10x over the summer or he's having the game of his life tonight

Can it be both?

Wait, that would work if you'd said you were insane, or right... Dammit.

I agree it might be a good solution. Although other players might be upset, who knows what impact he has...

But why would Marleau possibly waive to go to some poop team somewhere else when he's on a cup contender? Do you think he's that eager to help the team he's willing to go elsewhere so he can maybe watch them win a cup while his new team fights for a lottery position?

"Whos had the biggest impact on their team?"
Jt is a superstar. Its expected.

Skinner is a surprise.

Plus as he said, wanted to shed some positivity on the sabres as hes been crapping on them the past 5 years

Amazing how that works sometimes huh?

It's nice to see the Sabres finally playing up to their potential though. As a Leafs fan, I think all of us in here know what you Sabres fans have been suffering through, and we know how awesome it must be for you seeing your team play this year.

These games will likely be exciting for the next decade.
