One line team with goalies that haven't proven much over a long period of time. I'll take them any day.

One line team agreed.

Sabres have no secondary scoring at the moment.

They need to bring in another big time scorer, and another top 4 d-man.

I have been on the Kessel train for awhile, I would love him in the blue and gold.

three first round picks, hopefully they use one to bring in a legit player.

It’s a shame he’ll be a Coyote this time next year.

We will still have the Rich Costello era to remember fondly.

A line of Skinner-Eichel-Kessel would be lethal. So, I hope that never happens

So who are we targeting at the deadline?

Simmonds would be amazing to add to a line with Kadri, I'd also like to see if we could pry Gudas as part of a package.

Not sure if Simmonds can play the left side but something like this would set us up nicely for a playoff run imo

Marleau - Matthews - Nylander
Hyman - Tavares - Marner
Simmonds - Kadri - Kapanen
Johnsson - Lindholm - Brown
Ennis/Goat

Rielly - Hainsey
Gardiner - Gudas
Dermott - Zaitsev/Ozzy
Ozzy/Zaitsev

Thoughts?

Simmonds as a rental will cost the world and we don't have the cap space to sign him afterwards.

But, they're in the zone.
