Goldobin hasn't been that great over the stretch of losses by any means, but again, I am just not sure he would be the first one I would sit and use "reset" as an excuse. LE and Granlund have been invisible. Not really against Schaller drawing back in against a bigger Minnesota team.

Good to see Green have the cahoonas to sit Goldobin, to get him to play better and be more responsible. Goldobin is a fringe player that floats around the ice, easily knocked off the puck and if Pettersson wasn't his line mate he would have a quarter of the points he has.

Yup - who gives a frank about Goldobin anyways. If this team ever makes the playoffs again there is no chance he is on the team

goldobin is 3rd in points, 5th in ppg. Too much emphasis is made on the age of which Travis Green holds players accountable. Vets shouldn't be excluded from the conversations, as young players shouldn't either. If ANY player plays bad, hold them accountable. To me, benching Goldobin for Schaller is IMO a bad call. Elias Pettersson is our offensive driver right now, and Goldobin is riding shotgun.

I don't want you and Minivin to get my posts conflicted with me thinking Goldobin has been stellar. He hasn't. I am not arguing for him. He has been mediocre at best, and sub-par over the losing streak. My point was more so that I can see a few other players who I would personally sit over him and use "reset" as a example, but that's just my opinion. Half the roster is dog sh|t so who cares who sits

It's a bad team. EP and Goldy have been a bright spot, they have good chemistry. I'm not trying to say much more about Goldy, the chemistry has been nice to watch. I liked BB, EP and Goldy as a line. Very surprised they didn't go back to it and instead were seeing goldy sit. Wild are coming in hot, with Sutter we might be able to keep it tight. Everyone's favourite career 4th liner Beagle is going to come in and show why he should never play more than 13 minute a night (and never has in his career).

sitting schaller over goldobin hasn't done sh|t the last 10 or 12 games. I don't think sitting Goldobin over Schaller is going make a significant difference either tbh lol. 5-1 Minnesota tonight.

I am more excited to see what Leivo brings than I am about the game itself. I think the Canucks are going to get sh|t-kicked tonight

I don't think Goldy has been fantastic either. At this point though, he's a better option than most.

I think the coach and the GM are fine. You can bring in any GM or Coach you want, this is a poop team. We do have a couple young studs to watch grow, and more on the way. but there's no quick fix.

Going to miss the game tonight, due to prior commitments.
