Ya we will end up losing someone we don’t want to. Maybe they will take okposo for us if we throw in a 2nd.

Hopefully deals like that will still be allowed.

The panthers 100% need to be moved. The attendance is a disgrace.

Vegas made deals like that and still ended up in the Stanley Cup Final. I don't see why it wouldn't be.

According to Bill Daly the expansion draft will be held in June 2021 with the same rules as the Vegas draft.

That's why. I can't see them changing anything though. They are paying more money to get in and should get the exact thing that Vegas got as far as protections/deals

Based on the eye test... those numbers are inaccurate. Sabres game had 25% of the 100s full and it was majority Sabre fans. So unless that arena holds 50k+ those are inflated numbers.

Tickets sold. Just like last year and the Sabres, lots of tickets go unused.

Right... i get that. Problem is, even if the Panthers are "good" that arena is empty. They don't deserve a team.

Eh. They filled their building the year they made the Stanley Cup Final. You can't expect to go into a new market, and enamor a fanbase with a mediocre to even merely a "good" product. You need continuous success early and often for a fanbase to latch on.

Also this does not paint the whole picture.....

NYI seats 15,795 67.9% capacity

FLA seats 19,106 63.8% capacity

What is the Dolphins excuse? They don't fill the lower bowl either. The Miami market sucks. And its over saturated.

Hoping lines are switched up a bit..

Skinner Eichel Reinhart
Sheary Mittelsadt Thompson
Sobotka Berglund Okposo
Girgensons Larsson Rodrigues

Unfortunately the 3rd and 4th lines have zero scoring ability besides Rodrigues and occasionally Okposo. Okposo has been very cold lately.

If Miami becomes a Super Bowl contender, that place will be filled again. They have been almost as mediocre as the Bills in the same time span, only a few more playoff appearances (and 1st round exits).

Good morning, fellas.

I had big plans to spend all day trolling in this thread, but something has come up at work. So if you don't mind, I'll just write down everything I was going to say in one post.

Something about hotels with windows.

Love Canal.

I was hoping to take a small break from trolling to engage in some playful banter about Commander Tom and Rocketship Seven.

Definitely references to the assassination of McKinley, and the scene in It's a Wonderful Life where they sing "Buffalo Girls Won't You Come Out Tonight" - which is actually about hookers on Canal Street.

If a Sabres fan landed a good insult and I got flustered, I probably would have responded about wings being fattening, so Buffalo was killing North Americans. Yeah, it would have been lame.

Brett Hull's goal.

Wide right (although that pains me) and the Music City Miracle (that pains me too).

Absolutely would have made references to Rob Johnson.

Horseshoe Falls better than American Falls.

Buffa-slug.

Those horrible red and black uniforms.

Those abominable yellow on the front, blue on the back uniforms.

Another break from trolling to talk about the Buffalo Bill show, starring Dabney Coleman.

Once again, I'm sorry that I can't fully dedicate my day to this, but I promise I'll check in as often as I can.

All the best,

Atomic Wedgie.

NYI also draws from a bigger population. Either way, both attendances are pitiful. One is from an established hockey market, while the other is not.

Let's not forget the only goal Buffalo scored last night was when Josi knocked it into his own net. Rinne was incredible again. he's on track for his 2nd VT

I mean Skinner was right there to put it in regardless but to each their own. Would of resulted in getting Eichel the primary assist he deserved but they don’t matter
