Wow trade Sprong and two RW injuries. Seriously? - 668710
I'm going to look at the positive.... They'll be forced to move Kessel back with Geno and Hornie back with Sid. |

Anyone know how many goals Sprong has tonight? Now that he’s finally getting his much deserved shot? |

That needs to happen and put Rust with Brass. And get Brass his other winger eventually. |

I'm not following the game but Sprong sure is a finesse player that doesn't work too hard on the boards. His shot is good though. |

He said it was a long-term “blunder” - your word, not his. I’m not a fan of his game. Things are certainly going his way but just as it is now, it wasn’t going his way at all earlier in the season. The “typical fan” loves his intensity. I hate his play with the puck, very vanilla |

I don't think anyone here loves his play with the puck haha. But he does go to the net tips pucks and gets the rebounds and dirty goals. Was it worth the long term signing? Maybe not, but had we not signed him Ruth might do something even worse like trade for Lucic lol |

I value his work ethic and hard work in front of the net. He's a Top 6 forward and can finish the plays. Skill wise, dangling is not his forté at all. Any team would like to have a Hörnqvist on their team. |

The Pens won't be a contender in years 4 or 5 so worrying about those years is senseless.
Also, he's now tied for 2nd on the team in goals after he spent half of the season in that black hole we call the bottom 6. Nobody is scoring goals with Brassard or Sheahan. I just don't understand how people can prefer players like Simon over Hornqvist.

poetic justice (for Wilson)... shoe's on the other foot scum bag.
IMO, shoulder on shoulder; too bad Tommy was admiring his drop pass instead of bracing himself. But I guess a predator doesnt necessarily know how to protect himself if he believes he's the alpha dog. Reaves did not deserve the ejection, not the 5mins.
Kudos to RR! |

Totally clean and WONDERFUL! Wilson cracked his head off the ice. F that creep. I'd rather have Reaves back than the majority of our bottom 6. |

I'm with ya...I think Simon is nothing but a cheap plug..will get paid for playing with players that prop his stats(just like sheary and rust). The only young player that has been able to make a difference is Jake. All these other guys are plugs to fill holes. Kinda why I didn't get the need to bury sprong. That ship has sailed though. |

Good I hope he's out for the year. I dont condone those kinds of dirty plays but when the league doesn't do it's job someone just has to take Wilson out before he takes more players out. |

But we didn't need Reaves to play Wilson...we needed brass. I just don't see lil willy running round smokin dumo or ZAR if Reaves was there last season. We may not win the series but at least ZAR doesn't spend a summer eating from a straw. |
