Reinhart is the 6th best forward in his own draft. Would Pominville play at a 70 point pace with Reinhart as his C ? Eichel has a 4.6% shooting percentage and is on pace for 97 points. Let that sink in. Nylander is making more in the next 4 months then Reinhart will make over his entire bridge deal.

it's all jack, got it

of course skunk has been playing the best of the 3 in the last few games, but continue

none of them were going #2 overall though

no matter who was picking at 2

it came down to 3 players for the sabres at pick 2, and from what I was told, leon was not really in the conversation

it was 80 percent skunk, 20% bennett up until 2 weeks before the draft

- homiedclown

Yet another reminder that Tim Murray was over his head. I wanted Drasatil and all i had was video scouting on youtube.

the other guys you mentioned, would not have been on any nhl gm's board at 2 though, you ignored that part

and my guess is it will shuffle as their careers continue

the bigger question, would you rather have skunk then ekblad right now?

if this team was not so pathetic in the murray years, the numbers would be better for skunk, just like if pastrnak was on the sabres the last 3 years, his numbers would be much lower then what they are

Randy warned us when we signed up that the Sunday morning league was maybe the best one at the time, but we were in our early 20s, and most of my buddies worked restaurant jobs at night. Sunday morning was the only time we could play. Those guys absolutely feasted on us. By the end of the first season, I think we gained some respect though, because we came every week to get our asses handed to us (and we paid for the privilege).

Good times

I was on a team at Epic Center that was like that, we'd lose like 25-7. Once or twice a game our goalie would make saves that Hasek could only hope to make, and then let in the softest goals, like (Lalime x Lehner)³.

Would ROR's numbers have been better if he didn't play with Wilson?

That was basically me

Beady insinuated that he knew me somehow from my days at American Indoor. I'm still waiting to hear about that, Beady

He's stil playing and could end up with 400 wins.

Those are hall of fame numbers.

#1 US goalie in history

*only 13 goalies in nhl history with 400 wins
He would pass the dominator

- Boss34

I'm not sure we should be celebrating longevity as greatness. Miller is very much like Osgood. Good goalies that had a lot of wins that belong nowhere near the HHOF. And I'm a big Miller fan.

From Travis Yost's recent article: https://buffalonews.com/2...es-jack-eichel-analytics/

"The thing about Eichel is that he’s still individually generating tremendous amounts of offense. In fact, he is only one of 10 forwards who have already logged 100 or more shots on goal. So volume – which is usually a strong bellwether of future scoring performance – is actually considerably up. Eichel just isn’t converting on those chances right now" (4.97% shooting percentage)

"Eichel is actually taking more dangerous shots per-60 minutes than he ever has, and the percentage of his shots that would be considered dangerous are the highest of his career"

"In Eichel’s four-year career, he has never seen a better on-ice shooting percentage, more shot attempts, more dangerous shot attempts, or a higher percentage of Buffalo’s shots being dangerous than in 2018-19. And while it’s true that Eichel might be fitting himself in for more of a playmaker/distributor type of role (this is probably the area of his game that is the most underrated and overlooked), the offense is still highly productive with him out" (these are team stats).

Your responses keep making it like I’m blaming him for personnel decisions. If you read my list, there isn’t a single criticism for personnel. It’s the way he coaches on the sideline.

The people he has aren’t great - but they could do better than they are if he was a better coach.

- Der Kaiser

U think a different coach could’ve done more with the offense?
Idk man
This was a pretty rough group

WRs that struggled to get open
QBs who couldn’t find them when they were
O line that couldn’t block much at all for the first few games, and have gotten somewhat better- but still not good by any means

The knocks against him are mostly fair
I just don’t think that adds up to
“He sucks”
Or
“McDummy”

He’s also a first time head coach
So that should factor in

It’s not like I’d be against upgrading...
but i think the hate has gone too far
