pretty sure the % of losses over 14 points are greater with this coach than any other bills head coach


plus they backed into the playoffs last season and if they had any offensive game plan they easily beat the jaguars in the playoffs


I'd upgrade the head coach just like any other position in the bills organization if I was their GM

I still say give them a 3rd year. By then we'll know if Allen sucks or not. They both lose their job next year anyway if he's not becoming a franchise QB. That's when you clean house IMO

sarcasm.. I happen to like Sam. He is who he is. 50-60 pt guy with maybe the odd 60-70 pt season sprinkled in there if the moons align right.

If it were a question of the execution by the offense, then I would agree with you. But

-his in game management has been amateurish at best.

-He's way too conservative with his game calls

-1/9 in coach's challenges is pathetic.

-He runs one of the most penalized teams in the league

-When somebody asks him about anything negative on the team, "I have to watch the tape."

Couple really good points. Mcdermott's game day coaching decisions suck.

I think he's a great motivator and probably communicates well with the staff and the pegulas.

This year the odds were stacked against our offense.

We didn’t have the Cap to keep a good defense AND fix the offense

I don’t think any other coach, including Reid or Payton or McVay, could’ve done much more with the offense

There’s certainly points to be made against McDermott,
but just saying “he sucks” or calling him “McDummy” is going too far
He’s done things well too
What he’s done with the defense has been impressive

He has done well on the side of the ball that rewards athleticism and reaction. The D is penalized as much or more than the Offense. He hasn’t shown the ability to build a craft a complete team. He’s a head coach, not a DC.
