It’s all about promoting the game & selling telecast rights. It’s slow to come but it will happen one day & be Bettman’s legacy.

The NHL got the jump on Vegas & now Seattle. Europe will be the next big market. The NBA is the NHL’s direct competition & at one time hockey was more popular albeit a short blip.

Exactly. Plus there is zero 'mentorship' value with Tanev/Edler. There's a bit with Sutter but he's not healthy enough anymore for it to really make a difference. Gotta move on from all 3.
