I still think Parayko can be a great defender. He is 25. Just a few years of NHL experience. I hope the Blues keep him. I don't want them to trade him at all. Blues have no one to replace him. I think the Blues would be stupid to trade him They would need a haul in return Guess I'm just fanning the fires of rumors. Ha ha.

I didn’t realize Colton Parayko was Wayne Gretzky either. I must have missed his last 5 200 point seasons. 99% of the trade offers on here overvalue him by a LONG shot. He’s a solid second pairing Dman with a good shot. But he will never be a full fledged number one pairing guy if he’s on a good team. He may be forced into that role but that’s out of necessity, not based on skill.

But ya you’re both right it should definitely be Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Anderson and 4 1sts for Parayko and a 2084 7th. Though the 7th will have some conditions on it. St Louis wouldn’t want to get ripped off since they’re dealing from such a strong position in the standings.
