We should have Bozak, JVR, Komarov at the deadline last year. There was no chance the Leafs could beat Boston. They wasted a big opportunity to get back a treasure trove of assets

The Leafs loaned forward Travis Dermott to their AHL affiliate Toronto Marlies earlier Monday but head coach Mike Babcock confirmed Dermott would be back with the team for their game Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres.

Seems dumb but if the only other offers were 6th or 7th rounders, there's a good chance this Michael Carcone will be better than anyone picked in those spots. At least get a serviceable guy for the marlies. No idea if he'll ever get a look with the big club.

Why do the Leafs have to make room for Nylander, the greatest unemployed GM of all time, James Tanner, told us that the Nylander deal was a team friendly one. I don't get it?

one thing I don't get is Nylander signed a 41.4m / 6 yrs deal which is a 6.9m cap hit for the 6 year but his cap hit from years 2 - 6 is 6.969 ....
I'm just glad this is over some what. |
