Cap @ 83m next season means we have just over 32m available to sign Matthews, Marner, Kap, Gardiner and at least 4 more guys.

It's doubtful we'll be rolling more than 20-21 at a time to be compliant. You keep the other guys around 4m total and that gives 28m for the 4 big boys.

Kap's gonna get a bridge for sure with Marleau's deal still going, hopefully in the 2x3m range. Get Matts and Mitchy in at 20m and pray Gards takes the 5m remaining.

Both Nick Jensen on DET or Jordie Benn on MTL are intriguing to me next summer, for bottom 6 + PK min paired with a kid on an ELC.

Both will likely be around 1.5m AAV too.
