Wow, great vid. I was born in 79. This just blows my mind watching it... I can only imagine what this would be like. Honestly brings tears to my eyes. Could it happen with this group?? It is the stuff of dreams and legends...

Why do the Leafs have to make room for Nylander, the greatest unemployed GM of all time, James Tanner, told us that the Nylander deal was a team friendly one. I don't get it? - duxcup07
Honestly though the schedule makers kind of said “(frank) you” to the Sabres.
A back to back against the Preds and Leafs. Where the first game is at 8 PM...followed by a 2 and a half hour flight to Buffalo to get back for the next day.

The Sabres have it pretty easy the rest of the time compared to western teams though. Except for constantly returning to Buffalo, that must be a horrible Kafkaesque nightmare.

I honestly wish the NHL would eliminate back-to-back games. Cut a few games out of the schedule or start the season earlier. Every game should be an 'even playing field' and it is a huge disadvantage if you are not rested and the other team is. Remember our poor effort against Boston a few weeks ago (5-1 loss)?
