There are a lot of people who just seem to be looking for an echo chamber. They just can’t handle their opinions being challenged, so they resort to insults, or leave altogether.

If you can’t handle someone disagreeing with you, you shouldn’t be posting.

As a side note, Tanev is now being used properly, and I now love the guy. He’s a 5 on 5, 4th line wrecking ball that creates a ton of chances for his linemates, and even surprises players that know exactly what he’s gonna do just because it happens way too fast

I am too stupid to figure out how Taney is being used differently this year...

It's funny I think Rexypoo is speaking about himself. He's been trumpeting Dano, Enstrom, Little, Trouba, etc... And gets proven wrong over and over and over again. But for some reason we keep hearing his voice.

To believe I actually stuck up for Rexypoo to say we need respectful dialogue.

Less PK, not being moved up the lineup into roles he can’t handle, and he’s simply better now than he was last year, which helps

Honestly fellas and gals if any. I think everyone needs to relax!!! Who cares who agrees or disagrees with you, as long as we refrain from verbal abuse or crossing a line to me it’s all good.

I would never expect everyone to agree with everything I say nor do I agree with anyone on here with everything they say.

If I have ever been over critical of someone, I am sincerely sorry.

I know I’ve mentioned it before but let’s try and get together for an away game at the tavern or BP downtown. Maybe if a few us meet we can either have a few laughs or it breaks out into a brawl, both would be funny. Anyways, I’m in.

However, unlike your buddy Rexypoo (Peter Tessier) there, I never put anyone down about their opinions.

So not to be negative but could Perreault’s release be any slower or his shot any weaker than it is? I mean common Perreault, they are called wrist curls, look into it.

Also about Myers, how many different defensive partners has he had to play with this year? What's Trouba's excuse?

Trouba has not been as good as I would like but still miles ahead of Myers. Trouba and Morrisey face the other team’s best game in and game out where Myers gets sheltered playing against the other teams bottom 6. And Myers still sucked last year when he was with Morrisey.

Interesting.

Anyway, I don’t think Tooba gets you Dumba UJ, but Chevy would be wise to look West and see what Chiarelli would give up.

I’ve literally never been proven wrong on any of the points you’re making there. I don’t even know what you’re talking about when you mention Little in there

Trouba has been excellent, but does stupid things every now and then.

Myers has been horrific, and does stupid things often.

I’ve also literally never seen you “put someone down”.

Although, to be fair, I have been known to make mass-generalizations relating to certain players AKA people who like Hendricks are the same people who like Don Cherry are the same people who put barbecue sauce on steak

P.S. I’m now Tony, Peter Tessier, and Rexy

The boys are surviving games, on top end talent alone. If either top 6 line goes cold, or either of Wheeler and Scheifele break down from being overplayed, this team is dead in the water.

Trading Trouba is a massive mistake. Non-starter, unless he specifically requests a trade.

Copp-Lowry-Tanev is gold, though. Fair play.

- Rexypoo

Trading Trouba would not be a "massive mistake". All depends on the return. Lets not forget he is in his 6th season, has a career high 33 points, is currently on pace for 85 pims and a career high 39 points if he stays healthy. Sure that's not bad if you are a 5M D, but we know how drawn out contract negotiations and overpriced contract demands have been. Giving this guy anything north of 6M would be a mistake based on what I have seen to date.

Glad we agree on the 3rd line, and I certainly agree that our top end talent has been stealing games as well. They sure make games exciting, for good and bad reasons.

Thank god Chevy was smart enough to do that bridge deal with RFA rights at the end of this season.

Gentleman, my son's and I are making our pilgrammage from Atlanta to Winnipeg January 11-16. I would be honored to host a get together - my treat for snacks/appetizers and drinks- at your Downtown watering hole before the Moose game, which we will attend, on January 12. What say yee?....
We are also attending the Jets games on the 13th and 15th and the Moose on the 14th. Those dates could work also, but I figured Saturday might work best for the group....

Appleton has shown me more in 2 games than either Petan or Lemieux have in all of their chances.

Actually I'm surprised that more people aren't talking about Appleton...I agree with the above poster...if he can keep it up...I don't see him leaving our lineup.

He was fast and was comfortable in sending some perfect passes to our forwards.

It's also nice to see Laine start playing some smart hockey...not sure what clicked with him because he was playing like a pylon in October.

While I do not at all agree with this narrative that Petan has been anything less than excellent when he’s away from Lemieux, I am okay with the Perreault-Roslovic-Appleton line staying together.

Roslovic and Appleton click, Maurice is willing to actually play them, Perreault can cover for Roslovic’s wayward defence for now, and if that line is deemed inseparable by Mo, then Petan automatically draws in to the top 9 if someone goes down
