His reasoning makes no sense... since when do you pay someone based on where they are on your depth chart and not on their actual skill. He's basically saying Nylander is worth 10M on Arizona since he'd arguably be their best player this year but since the Leafs actually have a team he isn't worth 7M?

Someone has enjoyed him on the broadcast this year? News to me, he's been a joke. Between his nonsensical arguments (had another beauty today about value = depth chart somehow), his flip flopping opinions and his asinine analysis he's been a complete and utter joke all season.

Correction. I inadvertently transposed a couple of 6s and 9s. Nice, eh? The cap hit in the out years — Year 2 to 6 — is $6.969M, not $6.996. Not so nice to make a mistake, though.
