I know Pronger has mentioned moving up into the front office business but I wonder how he would field a request to coach the Flyers D-men.

Man, I would not want to be the Dman who just (frank)ed up when he gets back to the bench and Pronger hits him with the stare of doom.

I'm hoping all the candidates get an interview and Homer makes the best choice. I don't know much about the pool of candidates but, turns out, I really didn't know much about Hexy and what he was doing. I assumed he was kicking tires and turning over leaves for deals, but apparently not. The whole point of acquiring "assets" is to eventually use them in the line-up or in a trade to make the line-up better. Trading a couple prospects or draft picks to fill voids on NHL roster will not upset me.

The NHL is a tight-knit community so you know that Q and other potential coaches and free agents would have heard about the way things were being run.

Who knows if Q is even the right coach for us now? His record speaks for itself. But the fact that Hexy may have passed on him without making contact and having a conversation is BS. Kevin Dineen was hired to coach Team Canada in some upcoming thing. I wouldn't mind if we kicked his tires.

Since many of us have been shooting for the sky with trade proposals, I'd like to add, "Bring Lavy back!!!!!"

Personally dont feel he is fit to coach. Guy is franked up right now. That last concussion did a number on him. He has no depth perception. He cant even drive at this point.

Funny, that is EXACTLY Fletcher's resume...!!!

Pretty sure the Flyers want the Hakstol of GMs...absolutely zero experience with lots of hype. The more the unknown, the more excitement, the more money made.

WOW. Thanks for the insight, Bill. Doesn't get any clearer than that. I don't know that I've ever seen that detailed of an account... and you were trying to be generic! I love the Flyers and I'm glad you love them too.
