I’m going with tools reasoning regarding obtaining a D man

Id rather trade uncertainty in picks and prospects to improve d than trade a proven like Nylander.

When you look at previous cup champs, they have more in common with solid center depth as opposed to solid dmen. Especially with solid wingers. I do concede both are important.

EK needs to be on top of his game to be effective. He's like winning the lottery: when he's on, he looks like a no-contest perennial Norris winner, racking up points you'd be happy with from your top 6. When he's not, you're wondering why he's even in your top pairing.

I think he'll come around. New team, still early.
