The atmosphere (or lack there of depending who you talk to) is really what going to the game is about now. And the status that comes with being at the game.

With 4K TV, watching the game at home is hard to beat rather than sitting in those poopty seats, getting (frank)ed in the ass on what everything costs and the general lack of good viewing angles, replays etc. depending where the seats are.

Highly disagree though. I was at the Flyers game and try to get out to one game a year....watching on the TV does not even compare. You see so much more and you really see the speed and little room the players have to make a play.

Back when cuba was dirt cheap, my wife offered to get me Leaf tickets for my bday. I told her id rather go to cuba for a week then go to a game for 3 hrs and chance them losing, for that amount of money. Had a great solo trip in cuba 5 months later

It hasn't changed since the Expos, so it's like going into a time machine, it's like watching baseball in a (frank)ing time warp. You don't realize how much has changed until you go into a stadium frozen in time. That was the highlight of the whole trip, it's (frank)ing crazy. Highly recommended people do that Jays in Montreal preseason thing for just this reason. I'm not even a baseball fan.

Cuba is probably more of a guarantee of a good time. Something especially poopty about paying to watch a game and getting a bad outcome. It's almost like gambling.
