All this talk about the Leafs signing Nylander and trading him is just a bunch of stupid (frank)ing donkey poop.

Why would the Leafs trade him? You think anyone is going to be bitter on the hold out if Nylander signs a fair contract and is putting up 60+ points moving forward?
Hell, I think his first home game back, he will get cheered by the fans.....we will be happy to have him back.
All these idiots claiming the Leafs are going to trade him no matter what have their heads up their asses.

If some team offers the Leafs some crazy over the top trade, sure...but Leafs are not going to discount Nylander because he held out for 30 games.

Just stupid.

How has Dahlin looked?

Pretty rare for an 18 year old Euro to be able to contribute significant minutes in their 1st year due to rink size.

best rookie d man since pronger

and getting better every game

a bit clumsy at first, but he has settled in nice

he started out playing RD, which he did overseas

since the run, they moved him to LD, he is a lefty, and let him qb the pp

dahlin, so risto gets to play less

And my next question:

Is Skinner really playing that well, or is he getting a huge boost from Eichel?

On an unrelated note:

I haven't watched any Sabres games yet this year.

In 3-4 sentences, please tell me just how the frank your team is doing this.

Thanks in advance.

- Atomic Wedgie

To be honest, I am not sure either. The guys are developing though. They WILL NOT continue this. There will be bumps ahead this year. I would like to see them make the playoffs but they are not ready to be in Toronto and Tampa's league yet.
On a side note..Toronto beat a very good team lat night without Nylander. Why not try to get a solid defenseman and go for it this year. You guys can beat anyone right now.

I agree they will cool off, but if you win ten straight you can be average the rest of the way and still make the playoffs. They'll have to crash really hard to slip that far. They'll have to 18 wheeler it.
- Zezel

I think there's a very good chance that happens.

Do they have a goalie succession plan? Like at all.
- Aaron_85

Haven't drafted a goalie since 2015. He's been mediocre...so maybe?

honestly, I think it's more skinner is making eichel look better than eichel making skinner look better

but most sabre fans will disagree, just like the ones that think sam reinhart sucks, only because he was drafted 2nd overall

To leaf fans who want to prove that primary assist are more valued... yes.
Overall in reality, its a nice stat, but not really.

- Fakepartofme

Idk. Secondary assists fluctuate like crazy for a reason.

Dont buy iphone. Garbage.
- Fakepartofme

if the person is non-technical and just wants something thats easy to use and works with mostly everything, then I always just tell people to get an iphone.

I hate being locked down with poop on an iphone and hate itunes and almost everything about it...but I work in IT, so i care about that poop

the average user and older folks I just say get an iPhone less headaches for me lol

Exactly.

New, old stock iPhone 7s are fairly cheap so there's no point in buying used.

In fact, if the phone is intended for someone who is technologically challenged, I would shy away from used iPhones altogether due to questionable battery life.

Two schools of thought on this.

1) If they could get an impact defenceman for Nylander, they would have already done it by now. But they aren't going to trade him for a guy who doesn't at least have the potential to be on top pairing (I don't think that Nylander gets you a stud, but the dude has to be able to be able to log top minutes next to Rielly)

or

2) Talk of the Leafs having terrible defence is inaccurate. I haven't checked the stats this morning, but as of last night, they had the 3rd stingiest defence in the league. Sure, they give up a lot of shots, but the vast majority are from the perimeter. Hell, last night against a very good Sharks team, they didn't give up an even strength goal until the game was already over.

Take your pick. Or don't - I go back and forth on this on a daily basis.

With everyone else running an iPhone (including wife and kids), just makes it easier to communicate. I tried to get them on android platforms for all the communication options but they refused....FaceTime, iPhoto sharing, Messenger, etc...it's the only fricken apps they will use....so I relented and joined the rest. Resistance if futile!

We switched my parents to an iPhone because they have an iPad.

It's as simple as that.

An iPhone 6s is going to be old enough at this point that its reliability is questionable anyway.

Fun fact: People's phones tend to be dirtier than their toilet. Why would you buy someone else's filth?

Gotta say, after using the X for the last year, I never want a button on my phone again. Took me a good month before I stopped yelling how much I hate not having a home button.....now, never want it again!

The sabres have the Leafs, Jets and Preds next week....I think they get taught a lesson. It happened to the leafs a few years back..were on a roll, then faced TB and lossed 7-3.

I like having dedicated hardware touch points, having to reach the top left of a screen to go back on a webpage is torturous. Gestures are unreliable.
