Does it need to be an iPhone 6s?

You can get a brand new Nokia 5 for around the same price, or a bit more.

- TheMussel

This phone will be for my mother who is use to iphone and I have relatives that facetime with her. So it make it easier for her to use if I get her an iphone.

I'd go for the cheapest new iPhone you can get. Battery shenanigans wouldn't inspire me with a huge amount of confidence.

Hey guys, a non-hockey question here.

I'm looking to buy a cheap used iphone 6s with 16gb. Anyone know where to get one?

If you're going to sign her up for a plan as well, most carriers will give you the 6s or 7 for free now.

Buffalo has a nice future, but they are about to crash hard. Their advanced stats are pretty brutal. This is a crazy hot streak and that's it. I am still not convinced they'll make the playoffs. We'll see.
- RogerRoeper

I agree they will cool off, but if you win ten straight you can be average the rest of the way and still make the playoffs. They'll have to crash really hard to slip that far. They'll have to 18 wheeler it.

i think he is part of the reason
- senstroll

So is someone else on the ice a lot of the times....

Marner's the reason for most goals he's on for regardless if it's 1st/2nd assist or no assist is all I was aiming at, it's not a stat I go rushing to look at.

I like the Babs keeps mentioning Willie and that once he is back he will help.
I am pretty sure he has no idea if willie will sign by Sat, but he is just putting it out there he expects him to.

dont want to disappoint Babs

I wasn't happy when they did last time. President, GM need to be shown the door.

they suck, frustrating for me as I am a Jays fan and all my friends are Yankee fans

hopefully they can build around the kid once he hits his stride in a year or 2 with the big club

as a kid in the early 80's there was no cable tv so it was jays and expos for baseball games on the tube

ok..I honestly have no idea what you mean.. but anyways

as stats go I think this is the order of importance

Goal > 1st assist > 2nd assist

i didnt think it was even remotely questionable

I have read (red) you talking down for 10 plus years

I would have thought the leafs won 8 cups based on your post in the last decade

I am 47, never seen them even in the finals

I have to assume that Babs knows more than we think.. I think he's telling us fans ( sorry UG, I don't call you a Leafs fan) that Willy will sign on Dec 1.

I agree.

If you look at stats over seasons...2nd assists fluctuate immensely while primary assists stay mostly the same much like a goal.

People don’t like to agree with a more advanced way of looking at things but in reality the stats prove it’s the case.

Sooooooo....

Have we talked yet about Marner breaking his stick, going to the bench for a new one, taking the pass and getting his jillionth assist on the same franking play?

Meh...

At the end of the season, I don't think the primary/secondary assist stat matters all that much.

If McDavid finishes the year with 82 assists and Marner finishes with 79 assists.. Does it really matter if Marner had more primary assists?

Marleau could stick around. Not for more than a million a year tho.
- TheMussel

Would you? I know he brings leadership and the kids like him . . . and I'll admit that I was against signing Marleau, but was impressed by him last year. This year, I'm less impressed, and next year I'm expecting to be frequently irritated with him if they overplay him.

To me he is showing steady and predictable decline. I would hope that we have something in the farm that can replace his declining production and capabilities.
