I didn't mind Sbisa (i was in the minority there), but i don't recall anyone wanting Alzner.
I also was a Gudbranson and JV defender, when most were wanting them waived or traded.
I feel slightly redeemed re: Guddy and JV.
Sbisa not so much.

I guess being able to say "I told you so" without mentioning names is a pretty safe way of doing it.

I remember his name being mentioned a few times when he was a pending UFA with the Caps.

Then an article came out where he was quoted saying that he can barely feel the movement in his fingers anymore after blocking so many shots and it scared the few that wanted him. Probably scared away a few GM's too because he signed for less than what most were expecting him to.

That quote he gave probably cost him a decent chunk of change.

I know it wasn't me who wanted him and I don't remember hearing his name mentioned hardly at all . There is a difference when a poster makes a suggestion once or twice over repeating it every second day.

Fine Codes. You should have (frank)ing dropped it but you just won’t let things go some time. Jerk! It was me that wanted Alzner. He is one of favourite players. Happy now?

I don't remember recalling a single person who wanted him? I remember it being pretty unanimous that no one wanted another sbisa.
- Codes1087

I remember the same.

lol who cares if someone wanted Alzner anyway? I do remember his name being discussed here because I was the one who posted that article about his fingers being numb, so what though? big deal.

I'll admit that I wanted us to sign Schaller but so far he's sucked ass.

The only thing that matters is that the Canucks dodged the Alzner bullet.

I’m a grown man that throws scalding hot lattes at innocent bystanders. There are lots of things wrong with me but my belief in Alzner is not one of them

If Nylander doesn't sign by Saturday he sits for the rest of the year . Is he then a UFA?
