Or just not enough. I want every single person that makes decisions gone. They are a mess, from top to bottom.
The core, except for Giroux, should be shown the door as well. - Flyers1218

I can see it going either way, but I won't lie: I'll be fairly stunned if Hakstol makes it to the end of the year
They just don't play like a team that should be keeping its coach. Even I say that and I honestly think Hakstol has gotten a bum rap from some of the fanbase - AllInForFlyers
I mean Hak has had no say in picking his assistants and the team has never really looked like it's been fully aligned |

what was murphy in charge of? - 2Real
The Defense. He was charged with teaching them new and improved ways to turn the puck over |

yzerman would be perfect but its most likely a pipe dream as smart money is him taking over in DET and money most likely isn't a motivator for him. - wingz4life
I thought he was holding out for the Seattle job. |

I don't know if I'm late or not but I remember seeing something yesterday that Hak has been meeting with Homer for the past month or so - ajw12

I think Yzerman was quoted as saying he couldn't be a GM and a family man. I don't think he's coming back to the NHL. |

Have to believe that the new GM is going to want to have his own guy in there. |

I'm glad to see Homer's comments about finding a GM that wants to continue to draft/develop BUT also have an eye towards making necessary moves to keep the team progressing now. Find a happy medium. - BenderRodriguez

Like it or not Homer by far has the most NHL front office experience of anyone in the organization. You want a Comcast company stooge making these calls? |
