I really liked JV with Sutter when Sutter was healthy. I do think Virtanen needs/deserves a shot in the top 6, he has played really well this year. He had really good chemistry with Horvat and Sven a little while ago (albeit it was only preseason), didn't they get 11 points as line one night?

I like him in a checking role, which is where he was when he was with Sutter. I think he is actually a good defensive player. Having said that, he is 4th on the team in points, and I wouldn't mind him put in a more offensive role.

And that is not a bad thing. I agree.
