skinner's agent will not talk extension until next month

Interesting, so you're saying I was correct to rely on the official reports from sports analysts...whom reported exactly that.

This isn't a jab at you, but is hopefully a learning experience for the many bandwagon posters who chastised me for simply asking how it was that you knew something that the professionals analysts did not...you know who you are.

You don’t always have bad takes but even your good ones you just beat them to death. I can read, I don’t need something rephrased 12 different times to get it.

I believe that was sarcasm.

But I've been wrong before.

It's more the way you said it, and your attitude that SCREAMS BuffaloHardHat.

You didn't "simply ask", and we've known for at least a month about the Skinner talks, a per our informed posters, who despite dropping reliable info that turned out to be true numerous times, still get massive amounts of sh!t from people over said information.

There's a few of us who appreciate it, and this isn't a jab at you, but it's people like you, who ruin for us. Lurk more, post less and this entire conversation isn't happening.

I'm the one that said the contract talks with Skinner have started and we should see an offer come in January or late January. I have someone right on the bench that i get info from when it comes to me. Homie has someone also so if your going to call Homie out for no reason, you better call me out also.
It is possible for myself and Homie to get info before the top dogs on TSN or Sportsnet get it, i'm no insider and never claimed to be but who I know is as close you can get, i'm I right all the time, no but nobody is perfect not even the pros. No need to call Homie out for passing along info that most on here would like to here.

I'm calling it like I see it, if that offended your sensibilities, then I can't help you...I don't even know what the (frank) a BuffsloHardHat is, granted I'm sure I would if I spent half my life on this site, which is becoming ever more clear to me that a bunch of you do.

This used to be a cool site but now there's apparently some untouchables whom we must not offended or be questioned, else we have to deal with all you coming out of the woodwork, god damn pathetic...but hey, makes for great discourse and debate.

I'm sure none of this will register with you.

That's great that you guys have contacts, I'm sure the guys at the networks do too, and likely better ones, else they wouldn't have paid jobs, hence my original question.

Is this what this forum has really come to, that questioning another posters statement (When It Is Contrary To Published Accounts) is now akin to, "callling them out"?!

If that's the case, I'll happily take my comments elsewhere...In my line of work I've found that questioning and debate is much more productive and enlightening than a bunch of patting each other on back.

Not saying you're wrong, but lots of people have jobs they're not qualified for.

And yes, people get a little too touchy around here with sources.

I no joke worked with a guy who claimed he invented the velcro-strap towels that a lot of hotels use for just such a situation as in this gif... He said he had an offer lined up and everything that would get him 1% of all sales... Apparently, his younger self couldn't see that 1% of a multi-million dollar industry was, well, a lot of money after the years added up.

He claims the guy then stole his invention.

Oh and he has this same story for inventing strip-mall gyms. Swear to god, he says he invented them in the early-90's... And a guy stole his idea.

And this isn't even the guy who thinks the Earth is HOLLOW and there's a super-advanced society of ALIENS living in it... And it's heated by a small inner-sun. And NASA uses Photoshop to cover the entrance holes at the North and South poles with clouds and... Antarctica.

I've worked with a lot of very interesting characters.
