Not something that should be rushed. I hope they are extra cautious.
Seems like it might be related to his end of season back injury. Something about the groin over-compensating as the back recovered. We'll probably need Dragon to give us the clinical diagnoses. - Marwood

Tough question. Right now, I have Byram at 6oa and I have Broberg at 7oa.
If Broberg does become a Hampus Lindholm"ish" and if Byram becomes who I think he could be which is Morgan Rielly.
1 5 Toronto Morgan Rielly D Moose Jaw Warriors - manvanfan[WHL] 412 40 158 198 93
1 6 Anaheim Hampus Lindholm D Rogle BK [Swe-1] 392 44 109 153 184
From the 2012 draft.
Take your pick I guess.
I doubt we are drafting 1 st O/A so I am curious to see what are biggest needs are . The D seems to be the biggest area of concern so far. |

Took me 9 months before my back was alright. A full year until it felt as strong as it did before the injury. The hardest thing was the strain it put on my auxiliary muscles. Same injury, he has better treatment but I'd expect him to recover in a similar time frame.
I'm not a doctor nor am I a dragon though, so I probably shouldn't be commenting on back injuries. |

Van has quite a few needs. I guess it depends on if JB wants a player that could make a more immediate impact (easier to do for a forward) or about the long term plan and picking BPA if that means it's a defencemen.
Van has two good young Centers. They could use a healthy winger. |

Rule of thumb drafting is take a center or a Dman . You can trade for a winger.
It is not always that simple but I think so this year. I haven't heard enough hype about the wingers this year (still early). I seen them play last year and they were decent.
I see how little movement there is on the back end and the lack of speed and creativity. That is why I am leaning towards a Dman now.

I’ve changed my stance to “draft the highest ranked player on our American scouts draft board”
They poop on our CHL scouts |

OJ is coming to Vancouver to see the doctor and rehab, I wonder if he will see any action and DP see other duty? |

Luckily Brackett poops on all of them so it doesn't matter what we chose
We just get the entertainment of playing along all year. |

I believe in BPA. Imagine if Winnipeg took PLD instead of Laine
Imagine if Vancouver took M. Tkachuk over OJ.
You are right, it's never that simple.
The best part about not hearing about wingers is where you can pluck Pastrnak, Tarasenko, Rantanen, Meier a bit later.
*** I didn't really believe in drafting BPA last season. I was selfish and wanted a RHD |

Just read that CA article. Gives me a little hope about an Edler trade. Lol at Aquilini having to force Benning to agree to not trade away more picks. |

I was very happy and shocked to see Hughes there. I thought for sure he was gone top 5

I wanted him or Dobson unless Zadina fell.
My biggest fear was drafting 1 of Wahlstrom, Bouchard or Boqvist |

I have heard a few times by the media and Jim saying we feel we need players now . We have plenty of prospects. Not exactly those words but close. It was around TDL and they wanted prospects over picks. Not sure I really blame him.
I know he was not referring to first round or high second rounds picks. I honestly would rather see Edler traded for a high end prospect or top 6 winger over a draft pick. I know it is not the popular choice but I stand by it.
I have heard from a few sources (SN650 mostly) Canucks are looking to move on from Edler. They do have a few prospects in the system including Mceneny who is now 24 and ready . Obviously not as good as Edler but a lot better than Pouliot. I do hope they go a different direction. I like Edler but the time is passing to try a different direction.

You mentioned the other week that Peg fans were complaining about Laine’s lack of effort.
I suggest not to listen to those people. |

Well that’s Botchford speculation so it’s likely untrue. Interesting in that they aren’t that interested in bringing back Tree and want to trade his rights (if true). This makes sense because they were pissed by his selfishness and lack of heart. Would Tryamkin rights have value? My guess would be a 3rd round pick. I’d make that trade |

Gillis said that some of Botch’s roomers were true when he was GM. I think he has a source but makes up some poop too |
