I don't see any team trading a pick for Leipsic or Granlund .

Maybe next year Canucks start throwing out some trash.

Schaller is not looking good so far but you can bury him and it cost 900 k only.

On the positive side Virtanen looks like a very good signing.

Did you see the players that got were traded for picks last season at the TDL?

A 5th for (frank)en Tommy Wingels!
A 4th for Mark Letestu!
A 3rd for Frank Vatrano, he had 2 points!

As you said JB just needs to get Saavy!

And before last nights game, how were Markstrom's numbers over the past 5 starts?

He gives you about 5-7 high energy shifts a night . You hope he cashes in on one of them . I like Him Roussel and Bo for energy . Motte sometimes too.

Archibald on waivers.

Lets see if other GMs have interest in our lesser players for free.

Agree like what all of those players brought last night.

I stay quiet about Granlund because by the end of the year he will probably be sitting at 10 goals 20 points and can be slotted in anywhere on the forward position.

I think he is a good utility player at a cheap 1.4 per year. He has 4 G 10 points so far at the quarter mark so I don't have a lot of complaints about him .

If they claim him it is to play in the NHL. They can't claim him for the AHL

What's the story on Broberg 6'3 LHD climbing the charts . Seems to have passed Byram .

Is he another Edler or what is your take on him?

Ya kind of like Hansen light.

Would be nice if he buried more of his grade A chances though.

I see his utility purposes.

I see him as the 10 goal guy not the 20 goal guy he came close to one year. He seems to produce more with quality players.

Sure they can, he would just have to pass through waivers. My point was that if at some point they wanted to send him down it would be expensive. Same reason Biega clears. Marginal NHL player getting a "loyalty" bump on the minor league portion of their contract (or one way deal).

He's a different type of Dman then Byram. Little less offensive skill, little more overall game.

An Edler/Ekholm type.

From him in the u18s in the summer, was strong on the puck especially in board battles, pushing through checks. Good skater, larger body so slower acceleration.

Maybe he becomes Hampus Lindholm?

Not something that should be rushed. I hope they are extra cautious.
Seems like it might be related to his end of season back injury. Something about the groin over-compensating as the back recovered. We'll probably need Dragon to give us the clinical diagnoses.

Tough question. Right now, I have Byram at 6oa and I have Broberg at 7oa.

If Broberg does become a Hampus Lindholm"ish" and if Byram becomes who I think he could be which is Morgan Rielly.

1 5 Toronto Morgan Rielly D Moose Jaw Warriors [WHL] 412 40 158 198 93
1 6 Anaheim Hampus Lindholm D Rogle BK [Swe-1] 392 44 109 153 184

From the 2012 draft.

Take your pick I guess.
