Benning said in an interview at the beginning of the year they don't expect to make the playoffs. What happens if Canucks draft Byram this year ? It opens up trade possibilities having Hughes and Byram on the same team.

I do hope Canucks sign Jordie Benn next year for <2 mil if he is available.

He isn't the biggest of guys. Get's in and disrupts though. His Stats have him at 2.5 hits per game. When I see the games, I'd say he's at least at that. More if you count Makita's touching rule.

It’s the general criteria that the stats are framed around, if a person wants to point to a stat that shows a player is the hit leading player, and then question what more could they do, they lead the team in hits, just screams someone doesn’t watch and gets their assumptions from websites.

Maybe they should increase the stats collected, body crunching hits, brush by hits, pansy hits, flyby bows a kiss hits, and I’m so worried about being stapled to the bench I’ll pretend to hit and fall down.

Maybe the NHL should since the people watching around the world don't really know what the NHL counts as a hit.

The only reason I knew he lead the team in hits is because I watch the game. I only reason I look at stats because of thing I see in the games.
