LOL. if you dont think Seabrook 's contract is a problem for this franchise, you really are delusional.
- tompo1015

So if you signed Seabrook for 5 or 6 how does that change anything?

how do bad teams continue to be bad and lose?? oh and BTW this panther team sucks too but the hawks make them look good

1. constantly fall behind and chase the game
2. occasionally come back like tonight to have their own 2 goal comeback

And then proceed to give it right back

1. Kane cherry picking leaves the zone and the weak side D knows what to do and its 3-2

2. have a decent pp, control the zone with a panther has no stick for most of the 2 minutes but alas totally biff that and on the ensuing shift the guy in box scores the 4th..

16 of their 24 games they have allowed 3 or more goals...

Yeah, 5 more years. Give a 30 year old max $ and term, what could possibly go wrong. Worst contract in the league before the ink dried... He's untradeable at this point.

To all I acknowledge my error in my ways regarding this issue and its implications on SB.... I hope he got a cut of that....

I thought this new D system was going to make things better.

The new normal is now 40+ SOG against. Every game.

24th game
let's see if they can do what they've only done 13 times this year... score 3 or more goals. And six of those games were losses.

Hope Crawford plays great the next little bit and teams like Philadelphia, Calgary and St Louis realize they need to seriously upgrade their goaltending. Hawks could get some nice draft picks and prospects.

Hawks to pp. Let's keep it in for 2 minutes again, but score.

What would they give up? Their young talent is starting to grow together, doubt they want to break that up.

Buffalo- Ristolainen, picks and prospects.
Winnipeg- Bryan Little, picks and prospects
Toronto- picks and prospects

When you're going for a rebuild, you're not looking for value for value trades as much as dumping salary and getting highly rated prospects and picks.

I'm changing the name of the power play to the perimeter play when the hawks are on it.

Complete non threat to score. They aren’t even a threat to put shots on goal. But keep trotting out 2+7 Colliton. They’ve been on PP1 for 12 years and it’s NEVER been good. 13th year is the charm, eh??

This team is horrible defensively.

But they'd be an "average" team if the PP could convert at just 20%. Even 18%.

Sorry bud, but no way does Buffalo (9 straight wins and 2nd in division) trade their 23 year old 6’4 225lb #1 Dman for 30yr old Kaner.....

Kaner takes them to the next level come playoff time. My team is now officially a dumpster fire. Let a guy dream a little.

I love Ristolainen and he had a rough season last year so the opportunity to buy low is gone. Rasmus x 2 is going to be the best D pair in the NHL the next 10 years with Dahlin the lefty and Ristolaonen the righty.

Buffalo might want Keith or Crawford though
