Edzo has lost his mind. Gus loses the puck, in the offensive zone, trying to stickhandle through the whole Florida team. Totally out of the play. Then freakin’ LOAFS back. Gus is a disgrace! Juki dorsn’t play as an odd-man break. Whole situation turns my stomach, - Z3Hawk
Wow the mental gymnastics to blame Gus for that one 9.8, you got a 10 from East German judge |

Yes Gus turns the puck over, but that doesn't change the fact that Hayden and Fortin had their guys to cover. They went to help Joki who was on top of his guy on the wall. |

Another “Corsi for” padding PP with nothing to show, followed by marshmallow defense and another goal against. |

that was the Blackhawks season in a 3 minute sequence - relying on 2, 7, 19, and 88... but they put 8 out there for no good reason then they're exhausted and can't get it out of the D-zone and it's 4-2 Panthers. |

Seabrook turnover and its 4-2 - EnzoD
Is JC just putting 88 19 7 2 on the PP for accountability? That’s the core. Put them all
on the PP or is that him deferring to the core?
7 and 2 on the first pp unit together makes absolutely no sense. It’s mind blowing. So is 8 who’s job is to stand in the middle of the ice during it. |

This club is a disaster...
...only positive is the likely Lottery Pick.
Unfortunately Bowman gets to make that call so the odds of screwing that up are high. |

Debrincat needs to be on instead of Seabrook. Seabrook can shoot in his wheel house, can not move or shoot on fly.
Unless that happens, then Schmaltz or anyone is useless in that spot, because that is only open because of the weak side |

Uh, how about a goal scorer like maybe 12?!? Pretty unimpressed with Colliton thus far. He's better at press conferences than player deployment

I suppose it was Q who gave Seabrook that God awful contract. Along with the other boat anchor deals.
Alternative universe? State of delusion. - tompo1015
So Seabrook is the problem? If he did not get a contract like that and left, the board would have gone insane. That is the least of the problems right now.
You think he could have been had for 2mm a year? |
|
|

Buffalo is trending up, so Kane will probably wave for a trade back home. Toews will gladly go with Q to the Peg. Trade Keith to Toronto. You now have $26M in cap space with picks and prospects for Stevie Y to work with once Stan Bo is launched. |

One of the MANY problems is having a 3rd pair defenseman being paid like a Top 10 Dman in the league, Yes. |

Seabrook's contract is proof that Stan didn't learn anything from over paying Toews |

Conjecture first of all. If Seabrook signed elsewhere for that price the board may not "have gone insane", so your proclamation that it would is false. And no one suggested he should get 2mm a year. Where did you pull this number from?
The contract was and is a bad contract, spin it how you want, Bowman owns it, or he should, but his "apologists" are always there with a spin job so boy wonder can continue to enjoy his personal erector set. |

Yzerman will go to DET, Stan will get a patronage job there because Scotty will be Stevie’s new whisperer.
Q will go to Seattle.
And we will have McD in charge of finding a new GM. If he doesn’t retire first. |

I did not say it was not a bad contract. That is obvious. At the time he was part of the core in his prime. Not sure how that affected keeping Dayley or Kempny ? |

The other thing Stanbo is going to own is his choice of a Junior B coach who he thought would turn this ship around . |

Brent Seabrook has been a very good player for this team.
But it was Bowman who signed him to that boat anchor of a contract-- not Q
Seabrook is clearing not the player he was even 2, 3 years ago, but Bowman has him at a $6.8 million cap hit thru 2024. |
