This team has been in a rebuild for a very short period of time, yet many already want to try give up assets for 1 player....how about some (frank)en patience people. - Reubenkincade
Only spitballin...
If we get the best player in a trade & the price is liveable why not? I realize we cannot mortgage too much future but a line of EP Brock & Willy has a lot of pizzaz. The PP is pretty slick once Hughes is added.
Leaves Bo to roam with Sven & ???.
AG with JV & ???.

Couldn’t acquiring a player like this be considered part of the rebuild? |

Great. Some devestating weather in Liguria. We were in a town called Bocadasse hours before a huge storm hurled fishing boats to shore and felled trees and houses. Tuscany was great, I can confirm that the tower in Pisa does indeed lean, significantly! Had an incredible lunch in San Gimignano. Milan was so busy, saw the usual historic sights. |

Of course it can. Not sure we are anywhere near close enough to start giving up assets to add 1 player to a very mediocre pool of players.

Nice. I always seem to get crazier weather when I’m away than anything that happens at home.

I think they hold course, then sell at the deadline.
Pouliot will be waived. Lipstick will be waived.
They will see the team when SB, elder, sutter, boeser, beagle are back.
Trade potential:
Motte, granlund, tanev, elder, Nilsson, MDZ
Get what we can, stock the shelves then maybe sign a guy or 2 in FA.
Brassard? Johansen? |

Murray out long term in Pitt. Radio guys were suggesting Nilly to the Pens as a stop gap... with Demko cleared, Kuby playing ok and Bachy being Bachy, now might be the perfect time! |

Be nice to start dumping some if these pending Free agents early.
If Nilsson and MDZ got moved for some mid picks, I think most would be happy with that. |

another possibility is to send Markstrom in a package, because the leafs would be going all in so a decent back-up would be a good add with some money retained it could work - onesmallleap

Man how sick would it be if the Seattle franchise ppl realize the Vegas model won’t work again this soon, so they try to market them as the bad guys in town..throw big offer sheets at Elias and Quinn..full on poop disturbers |

Markstrom package for Crosby? - Nucker101
Wasn’t Markstrom the best goalie not in the nhl 2 seasons ago?
McDavid or bust. Crosby is over the hill and Edmonton needs a shake up |

Anyone else watch Pettersson on a full back check hustle play, blocking shots with his foot wondering how many he can take a year ..
Mind you, since the matheson hit he’s been much safer on the boards..but as sick as it is watching him break up plays on the back check, seems like he’s always venerable without the puck |

I’m not so sure ppl are not patient but merely speculating on talented players.
Quality & proven young talent has to get anyones attention & doesn’t equate into rushing anything along.
A 22yr old is longterm building block.
—————————————————————
Bo is locked in at a great price.
EP will get the biggest payday down the road.
Brock will be tops 8m.
Willy is easily as good as Brock.
Thats a great core 4-some & add Hughes.
Add in other key/role parts aka 3rd wheels |
