Just saw online, that when Reid Boucher broke Steven Stamkos's single season goal record for a season, he did it with none other than.... Goldobin.
Woudn't be surprised if Green puts Goldobin - Pettersson - Boucher together. |

that would be great for Boucher, a chance on an offensive line.

He would slow that line down a bit. |

These results are inevitable.
- Injuries to key players is overtaxing others.
- The heavy schedule they've been playing has allowed no breaks for recovery and practice.
- Tired players are more prone to making mental mistakes.
- Playing road games means you're not getting the calls and power plays unless the home team already has the lead.
Green's system is based on pressure all over the ice and they can't do that effectively when they're this tired. I expect they'll return to .500 hockey again after they get a few days off and have Edler, Sutter and Boeser back in the lineup.

Never liked Virtanen with Pettersson. Boucher may work out temporarily.
Virtanen doesn't understand the nuances of maintaining possession in the offensive zone.

Is this a trick question? Two of the guys are like 62lbs soaking wet. |

Guy shoots the puck like OV...but needs huge amounts of support to get him in position to make shots and succeed. see where it goes. |

he would, but it would be a good opportunity to see his shot (really his one redeeming quality). 10 goals in 12 AHL games isn't bad. |

If he is smart enough - can process in the offensive end - he will get some seriously good looks. Playing with Peterson I mean. But all it will take is one shift where Petey feeds him a no look behind the back through the legs pass in the slot when Bouch isn’t looking and he will be relegated to play with Eriksson... |

That's Boucher's best bet because he usually comes in hot and then his offense falls off the cliff when he joins the parent club. |

I was actually going to bring it up in the the last thread it is kind of baffling, but I heard Benning did inquire and the Laffs just want waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much for him which is basically why he hasn't been moved. We can't mortgage the future for one Nylander even though I would love to see him on a line with Pettersson. |
