Great to see Saad continue his solid play.
Forsling has helped.
I continue to like Joki.
Wondering when Schmaltz is going to figure it out.
Kahun disappearing a bit. Not much happening on that entire line with Kampf and Fortin. But they weren't even the worst line as JC sat Kruger's line for most of the 3rd period. I'd rather see Kruger with Kahun an Fortin an put Kampf with Martinson and Hayden because I think Kruger is better than Kampf.
Blackhawks roster still needs more talent.
I hope Murphy helps.

Out-statted them - but very perimeter - no net presence - Holtby rarely bothered.

Both goals were individual efforts - no team goals.

Yep....PERIMETER GODS.
No wonder they haven't a series in 3 f'n years.

GM is LUGGAGE.

Depends on where you are ... different today, yes, but there are still plenty of a holes who think it's cool to show disrespect and hate towards those serving.
My teacher goes up to Hawaii. Sounds like some funny stories!

I don't agree on the net presence. They lurked around the net a lot more tonight than they usually do. Just couldn't get their stick on a puck.

Kane was brutal tonight. Very non chalant coming into the zone on too many occasions.

Hayden.... He's headed back to Rockford soon I think. Colliton doesn't like him. Think he only had 3 minutes of ice time.

Gustafsson was his usual self. Great move on the goal, but mostly noticeable for his inability to get a puck up the ice.

And... What I hated most about this game was that during the last two minutes, nobody wanted to shoot the puck towards the net. Trying to create fancy cross ice plays instead of just getting it on net.

Too much one and done and didn't get to rebounds or loose pucks on the attack. Since the coaching change only Arizona has had a worst 5v5 shooting % in the NHL.

I didn’t see much at the net - and what there was couldn’t get sticks on pucks because the were easily moved out of the play.

Not a great 60 mins and the Hawks squandered too many good chances to even up the game. They had to play from behind all night.

This is going to be a standard night for the Hawks. Very up and down and ultimately not enough scoring depth to mount a comeback.

Gus drives the net better than Schmaltz

I'm about done with chickenpoop Schmaltz. How many times a game do we have to watch him wussy up the puck to avoid a hit. And before all the "he's a skill player, he's not supposed to be a tough guy" apologists pipe up - there's a far far difference between being a non-tough guy and being a wussy and Schmaltz is a wussy. Just wondering - at 23, is Schmaltz too old to switch from hockey to ice dancing? He'd probably make a good twinkle toes ice dancer. Just sayin ...

I think Edzo said once Toews gave Holtby some trouble in the blue paint, and that wasn't involving the dirty glove. They won a couple of past games because of net front presence. The collective short term memory is astounding.

There were mad scrambles here and there, but nothing sustained or troublesome for Holtby.

a loss in in cap land...gotta start betting these trends

did not see much of the game other than the last 10 min..announcers commented about 12 total hits in the game...seems to have been a nothing game and your typical hawk loss...fall behind early and often..game over.

most likely another loss awaits in tb...they never win there either...

Love Toews, but he got pushed around by Ovi tonight. After Ovi might have taken a liberty, Johnny had a chance to exact revenge at the bench and marshmellowed it. And the glove on Holtby ? Looked like Mrs. Thurston Howell waving off a refill. Captain has to be TOUGHER than that in that environment.

Yeah! I did see that, it was almost like a chest-bump going to the bench! I wanted more, but his temper flared, just not to the level of pissed off.

Oh lord, Mrs. Thurston Howell, hahahaha! McD can be professor ass hat and Stain can be Gilligan.

Theyvescored 9 goals in the last 6 games - five times less than 3 - 2 wins and 4 losses.

How much NFP could they have had?

Despite my age, my part of the collective LONG term memory is fine.

Tough loss HAWKS hung in there made it interesting ,but Wash was the better team . Holtby played well . Tough watching Kempny get the winner and make a nice maybe lucky play just before the 4th wash goal . Kempny another of the players Q drove out for no good reason .Thank goodness Q gone, he did such damage to the team in the last 3years . Need to get back at in Tampa GO HAWKS !!!!!!

I was trying to agree with you, but left off a word. Collective "team" short term memory. So sorry, that was my bad. I thought I typed it. It wasn't directed at you, I'm not the type of person to attack, haha.

I know there have been tight games, but they have scored more goals going in the blue paint and staying. That aspect was more noticeable a few games ago. The pp has been more effective, minus tonight. Couldn't set up anything.

Fill me in on how Kruger is contributing? - PKill is a disaster

Watched the LA game & Wild game live at the UCenter on the weekend

In two games Kruger touched the puck twice- touched not possessed
Love the guys heart but I’m done with him occupying a roster spot
Another two players Bowman signed demonstrating he’s out of touch
