My point was that in his body of work as an assistant GM and GM of the Sabres, the ROR trade reads as more of an anomaly than a norm. Lends credence to the notion that the deal was more about moving on from ROR than needing Berglund and co.

I wanted Domi from AZ if a trade was to be made, but I would also say as a vehement ROR supporter, I think at this point, with these results, a trade was for the best

They're cheap (frank)s. Why pay another broadcast team when an NBC owned one is doing the game anyway? They do seem to be a bit more impartial when they're doing national games, but I still don't want to see Flyers or Blackhawks logos all over the place.
