He is, but he went by the name Alexander Daigle. Dean was just his acting name. - Glak18

It's weird how terrible players on the Flyers end up playing better on other teams. |

Ain't that the truth, hell 7 fights was basically a home and home weekend for the 70s/80s Flyers, especially against the Bruins or Rags. - BiggE
Sad......so very sad! This “new” NHL just (frank)ing blows....😞
We can reminisce back to the good ‘old days though!! |

LOL, it was a totally different league back then. Every team had at least 2 or three guys that could throw em in the 70s and 80s. - BiggE
I know, just joking. We have been in this spot before. When the Flyers had fighters on the team people asked why they are even playing and taking a good players spot. Now there are none and people are asking why don't we have any.
Flyers need someone with the skill of McDavid and the coked out animal of Probert...oh wait

Could moving Ghost to LW fix the Flyers? - Feanor
He needs to be kept out of OT, that is all I have been told. |

Simmonds can stay out, so long as he's wearing women's underwear. |

I've also heard of it being a salt water bath with other spices and aromatics to add flavor to the turkey and help keep it moist. - dragonoffrost
This is what we do. I’ve started doing a “wet brine” with chicken and pork too. The meat stays incredibly moist, even the white meat and you can get some incredible flavors. It can get too salty if the protein stays in the salt brine too long. The turkey is a 24 hr brine, but for chicken breast and pork chops even a 3-4 hr brine can make a huge difference.
Happy Thanksgiving all! |

Dry the bird and then coat the outside and inside with salt for a day until i place it in the oven. - J35Bacher
Turkeybuzz...love it! Brining or salting is the way to go. I like a salt and spice mix rubbed inside and outside the bird (great if you can get it under the skin too). Let it sit for a day. Baste with pan juices occasionally while cooking.I know a lot of people who buy kosher turkey for Thanksgiving. Kosher birds come pre-brined. That's why kosher turkey and chicken taste so good. To me it's not worth the extra expense. It's easy enough to just salt it yourself. |

Sabres HB is more excited about Lyon than anyone on here. Obviously not for the same reason that I am super excited for Lyon’s rookie game debut. It’s all good though, thinking they have an easy match up will only frustrate them sooner. All the pressure is on them.

I totally expected food discussion today since it's the day before one of the largest food fests of the year. I'm in charge of desserts this year so I'm doing a chocolate creme pie and a banana creme pie with a cheat recipe my mother showed me... no baking just mix put in premade crust and throw in the fridge. |

depends on the ratio of salt to water too. I do a quick 2-4 hour brine on any chicken or pork I cook. So good for pork chops on the grill! Damn, I'm hungry |

He's played before during last season and was serviceable. Team seemed to button some things up in front of him that they didn't for Elliott and Neuvy. But he still looked like a rookie. |

My wife is making a pumpkin/bourbon pie right now. Sounds like more of a cheesecake consistency with graham crackery crust. I don't really like traditional pumpkin pie, so this sounds pretty good to me. |
