I’m actually a Hagg low key fan. He’s improved this year and it’s nice to see. He’s limited but I don’t mind him.

Out of Myers, Sanheim and Hagg I would be most willing to lose Robert though.

Toronto is winning without Matthews and Nylander, they don't need Konecny and a scratched Gudas. They need a young top 4 defenseman. Only way Nylander is going to be a Flyer is for Provorov, Ghost or Sanheim+. Nylander is not an option for the Flyers no matter how much junk is added.

Nope. I think the Flyers as a group actually have a pretty solid collection of talent that is being misused. I think more talent is on the way and would not look to make huge changes with the exception of Simmonds.

You’ve got the makings of a solid dgroup here. I do think Prov either came back too early or is still playing through some stuff. It’s a huge change in him this season.

I feel ya I'm just thinking that if something doesn't go right soon we're going to see some sort of big deal made. I mean it's been the same core of players for roughly 7 years and the same coach for 4. If they lose the next 3 and don't make any changes Hextall isn't doing his job correctly. Not saying they should go out and get Doughty but something needs to happen.

I’m very cool with Hagg, in a much lesser role in the future. I do think it’s probably down to either him or Morin at some point with Myers eventually coming up.

Reilly is doing well offensively, but after that you have Hainsey, Gardiner, Zaitsev and Marincin...possibly Dermott. Plus, Gardiner is in the trade rumor column daily. Gudas is a 2nd pair guy with them all day. Plus he would add toughness which they have none of.

Hagg is a solid d man. Doesn't do anything to fancy out there but he plays the game the right way. Once all the prospects get incorporated into the d corpse I can see him being a staple on the 3rd pair for years to come.

I haven't seen Marincin at all this year. Dermott has been playing well then you have Ozhiganov. Hainsey is an anchor on the top pair, but no way Gudas is taking that spot. Zaitsev is just a better Gudas.

That's like trading Simmonds for Marincin and the Leafs saying he is better than what you have.

I don't think they need to trade for a defenseman or Nylander. They can score enough and while the defense isn't sexy, there are worse out there

If Hextall is firing trade bullets, they need a goalie and a 3C who has shown they can legitimately lead a penalty kill, and another PK winger for the fourth line

I know some will disagree, but I don't care if Hart gets blocked by bringing in a legit goalie. You didn't sign JVR to piss this season away, and there's no telling when Hart will be ready -- or if he ever will. We all want him to be successful but the Flyers are trying to win now, otherwise JVR wouldn't be here
