Boucher can't skate at the NHL level, last night the guys on the Canucks who aren't that fast or big got exposed, both games agains the Jets have exposed those players.


I liked what Gillis said on the radio a couple of weeks ago, you still need size/speed to win in this league, a smart player like Granlund still gets exposed against the Jets because he's just not as physically gifted as most of the Jets players. He's quick, but not actually fast or skilled enough to the point where he creates space for himself, and he's a twig in size compared to a lot of the Jets.

Meanwhile, a guy like Motte had the speed to still be noticeable. Even Jake got going a bit as the game went on and was a factor with his size/speed.

For sure, I was a fan of that pick. Drafting skill/skating is the way to go, more room for upside than a guy like Gadjovich.

Hard to get a read on Lind...great production but he seems to lack any dynamic attributes. Utica has been a waste so far. Kid needs to stay healthy
