What should I expect?

Anything i need to check out new at the arena?

IF you are bringing a kid they have apple juice in the market in the 100 level. I learned that

They need a standing ovation when they hit the ice IMO. And a 1,2,3,4,5,6 we want 7 chant at puck drop.

Didn’t backread but what a win tonight! This team has really, really come together. Contributions from every direction.

I was wondering if Scanner is our for a bit after taking that Malkin shot off his ankle, who comes up for him? I like Pilut.

- PrinceChill

Beaulieau will come in, no need for a call up although would love to see Pilut. He'll be a regular next year.

There was an article on The Athletic that said that there's a chance every Cup winning team in the Cap era could miss the playoffs this year.

I don't see Boston missing, but other than that, it's possible.

This team is unreal. It certainly is not ideal to keep going down by 2-3 goals every game then storming back to win in OT or shootout, but DAMN is it fun to watch!!

LETS GO BUFFALO!! We want 7!

Nothing really changed in the arena that much, except paying $12.50 for a Beer or $5.00 for a bottle of Coke. But somehow when you are winning games you really don't care about dropping 30 bucks for 2 beers and a pop...

Did you officiate any games on that yellow ice at the Everblades arena?
- Wetbandit1

I did not but a few of my buddies did. Said it was a little weird at first but it wasn’t a yellow as they expected.

How many coach firings has O’Reilly been around for now?

One on each franchise I believe

Sacco
Bylsma
Yeo

Coach killer Eichel

Im going to get killed in a Pitt thread, just posted this.

From an outsider, there is a lack of depth in Pittsburgh.

Brassard is not as legit as you are saying IMO. He is a good defensive center, but shouldn't be relied on to be a top 6.

Being a constant cup contender and trading futures for rentals will eventually catch up to a team.

The core of this team is all 30+

It may being coming close to rebuild, but i don't think its quite there yet.

That said.
They will never trade Crosby or Malkin, so I am not saying that.

Its the same thing with Chicago, LA, and Detroit.

Being good for this long and constantly going for it, catches up.

I’d agree that they are thin in depth, but their goaltending has been horrendous... they need to get a goalie ASAP.

Their farm team is not as strong as it once was either... and like you said when you start trading futures the system suffers.... they still have the talent to compete.... but they better figure out who the goalie is, that trade for jack Johnson was bad!

Hearing Scandella did not suffer a break... does not appear serious.

No Pilut just yet then

It does appear as though there is a pattern here with ROR but honestly the Blues dipped into the FA pool this summer and frankly it hasn't worked. And they have cap issues on top of everything else.

If Reinhart were a Seguin-level talent taken at 2 overall, the Sabres don't get Dahlin. As it stands, they have a guy making under $4m as the fourth leading scorer on the team, and, of course, Dahlin

If Reinhart was a Seguin-level talent they might not have tanked in the McEichel draft and we might not have Jack either.

I will gladly take Sam Jack and Dahlin

I only caught the last half of the game.

I will watch the first half today when I get home from work.

But from what I saw

Reinhart played very well, I kinda liked the line with him Sobotka and Tage

The 4th line played incredible at least from what I saw. Hell they should have won the game in regulation if Larsson could have lifted the puck.

Hutton was stellar. Yes they scored 4 but how many break away and odd man rushes did he stop? (If you remember I called him having a Tim Thomas breakout type season)

Casey's tying goal was an absolute snipe show. He gets better every game. He is going to be a great #2 center for this team for the next decade.

I heard Dahlin had a rough start of the game, but oh my when he took the puck in space and went around 2 Penguins and juuuuuuuust missed in the 3rd....I cannot believe he is a Sabre.

Best game I have seen Risto play in 2 years. The diving play he made in OT to get Jack the puck was almost Lafontaine like on the May day goal.

Jack's expression when he scored said it all. He needed it, he wanted it, he wanted the win so bad. That plus his post game interview with Rob Ray. You can tell there were issues in the locker room last year.

Phil Housley...he is showing some fire and passion behind the bench. I know a lot of us weren't sold on him (myself included) but he has the boys playing his style of hockey for at least half a game. Now just get them firing out of the gates like that and this team is going to be extremely dangerous!

1, 2 , 3, 4, 5, 6, we want 7!!!!!!

Sabres hockey is fun again!

They might have still gotten him without Jack!

Remember the rest of that team was hot garbage!

I'm almost scared to find out what happens the next time they build a 2 or 3 goal lead.

Well the Vegas game in October they just kept scoring even though Vegas had the lead by a large margin in the shots on goal category.

I want to see them come out firing and not let off the gas at all...perhaps against the Leafs!
