Just want to compliment Housley on a post-game comment where he talks about the team playing "north hockey on their toes" and playing a "three quarter" forecheck. The one thing I absolutely could not stand with Bylsma was the set play where the d men would retrieve the puck, and then Eichel looped back into the d zone, collected it, and tried to skate it through 4 guys in the neutral zone.

The attack mentality is obvious, it's refreshing, and most importantly it's working

Hopefully, this is just the kick in the butt the Blues need to finish 11-14 from the bottom...

Didn’t backread but what a win tonight! This team has really, really come together. Contributions from every direction.

I was wondering if Scanner is our for a bit after taking that Malkin shot off his ankle, who comes up for him? I like Pilut.

unless he goes to IR, anyone they bring up as an emergency recall can't play

Those sting like a mofo, but if it doesn't break something, you should be fine in a couple of days.

Do you think the stick to Malkins head was on purpose? I thought it was incidental, my husband thinks he did it intentionally.

It's tough, it seemed like he, I don't want to say dive because getting hit there really hurts, but went down a bit dramatically. That said having your hand on the butt end, it's not exactly a precision weapon at that point.

Don’t they go hand in hand usually?

Yeah I think he was rolling over that way and didn’t try to stop his stick from hitting him in the head...... maybe encouraged it a bit too. No harm no foul, the penalty was appropriate.

Good. Tear it all down! Give us a 2020 first when they’re in the middle of their rebuild.

Did you officiate any games on that yellow ice at the Everblades arena?

Yeah, I've said it too a few times this year that I love seeing 2 forecheckers.

Sometimes, but they get confused here all the time. Often they'd bring up someone, just in case someone else can't play. They may very well call up Tennyson, and people will flip out, even if they have no intention of playing him. If they do call up Pilut, they wouldn't be able to play him without another injury or a roster move....and people will flip out.

Technicalities, but they'll just play Beaulieu on Wednesday.

Gotcha.
People might flip out sooner or later if one of the Swedes down there doesn’t get brought up though

I think I found the key to fantasy football, draft a really, really good team and then don't touch it for the season, even to sub in guys for bye weeks. I'm 9-2 in Gerbe's league and also have the most points.

Edit: Also have the commish override a perfectly fine trade that a few morons think was one sided in favor of you, and it ends up being a good thing for you that it was overridden.

I just love the looks on their faces when they pull out another victory. You can see the excitement. These guys like each other. We don't have any "i lost my love for hockey" guys on this team.

When Jack scored last night, I woke my wife up across the house with excitement. It feels good to have a good hockey team again.
