If you can get Bobrovsky without giving up assets that’s where I’d like to look. Nothing wrong with having Hart develop slowly, similar to say a guy like Saros.

Other options I’d have interest in:
Dubnyk - depends on if Minny decides to rebuild. With a new GM and likely another early playoff exit, here is to hoping.

Crawford

Regarding the goalies, it’s beyond time for Lyon to get some games. Believe he hits UFA not next season but the one after? Pickard is a 5$ back alley Sally for a reason. If you develop these kids, they need a chance to play.

- flyer_nutter

You'd have to sign him to a big money long term UFA deal.

I don't want anything to do with Quick, he's a major primadonna. He couldn't handle the defense being soft the way it is now.

Also he's 32, just went through surgery and has 5 more years on his contract.

- Doctor DOOM

Could you explain why he is a “major primadonna”. I have been friends for years with one of his former coaches who remains good friends with Quick. I never heard a negative description of him like that before. Please elaborate.

It's like a pitching rotation. Goalies get a game every 5th day.

You're a few games short of 82 there but I wouldn't mind moving the franchise at that point of the season if that's how it plays out either.

Not only that but we're going to get them for players we don't want and for draft picks we don't need.

No way I give up that much for Crawford, he is a slightly better Elliott. Rags and Flyers make a trade...how often does that happen?
- Glak18

You really think he is only slightly better then Elliott?

I don't agree. I think Crawford is one of the best goalies in the league. Just look at that team with him vs without him.

I like the idea of Crawford or Lundquist.

I just think both require atleast a first round pick and an "A" quality prospect.

- ggunky

I hear ya. I don;t like the idea of giving up anything like that when I feel we are not close to a cup. Not worth it in my opinion

Not many choices available though. I mean who are the best goalies in the league...ok cross them off the list because no is trading them. Now the Flyers could trade for a backup who they think can be a starter in the NHL, but been there, done that. That is pretty much every goalie the Flyers have. Flyers don't want a goaltender who is a dumpster fire, they can find them on waivers, so cross them off the list. They could go after a good goalie who is older or has injury issues, but you said no to them.

Who is left?

Answer: Steve Mason....ugh.

Yeo out. Good for St Louis to recognize the need for a change.

Sometimes when a person cannot poop, one must manually remove the obstruction from the rectum. This is called disimpaction.
