It's always falling out of my pockets, and I can't be bothered to spend the nickels and dimes, so they pile up on my dresser. - Atomic Wedgie
I probably have cash on me maybe 5% of the time in a full year. My wallet is always empty...always. CC only for everything to get loyalty points - which I hoard relentlessly - ever striving for that next tier - never spending a single point. I am a loyalty plans dream. |

I know most of you guys don’t care for the rough stuff in the game but I like the rough play. Some guys have skill and speed and by nature have a rough edge to them. It’d be so awesome if we could pickup a player like wendel Clark. Just me dreaming - BreathLeafs2015

I was born 1960
And couldn’t care less for hockey or learning to skate. My brother was dads favourite ie skating peewee hockey etc. I remember starting to watch hockey Saturday nights with my dad in 1967. So he’s Dave Keon and all the greats. When I was about 12 years old I got a transistor radio as a present am -fm dial. I found out quickly leafs game on radio and would often hide under sheets and blankets even on weeknights with an ear plug in my. I got so versed and knowledgeable over leafs that from 12 years old did not miss many games. My older brother hates hockey and does not watch only me. My favourite memory was wendel Clark Ellet potvin Gilmour etc 93-94. I remember mcsorley hit Gilmour a d Gretzky high stick in playoffs. I was so excited palms of my hand were sweating like crazy full of excitement in leafs. I would literally cry if leafs had a dynamic player that could score And also rockem sockem and get entire team going when needed. |

I just remembered the time back when big_dion started blogging for the leafs but was only allowed to blog on Wednesday so as not to mess with augellos mojo.
Then he broke the Babcock to leafs story ie something like that so he posted it but it was a tuesday so augello deleted his blog and posted the breaking news himself but by then everyone knew already.

I think it was his breaking news about Lou being GM blog that was deleted.

Holy frank - I actually love this idea.
No, I'm not kidding - this is franking brilliant. - Atomic Wedgie
Why would awarding half points be brilliant? Why would this make any more sense than simply changing the format to awarding 3 pts for regulation wins, 2 pts for OTW, and 1 pt for OTL?
Do we really want to have season's end with, say, 98.5 pts? That would be ridic.
Having said all of that, I still think the best possible solution is to follow soccer's format of 3 pts for a win and 1 pt for a tie* and do away with the stupidity of shootouts.
* What's so (frank)ing wrong about ties anyway?

Reading all the comments and wow! What a bunch of ignorant useless blow hards so many of you are. You have a team that, with a few tweaks and an addition here or there, is a top cup contender. Yet so many of you can only find fault and become picky little ass kissing complainers. You're like a pack of wolves out for a kill and you don't care who gets killed - even if it's your own team.
Embrace your team. Shut your damn mouths and make comments based upon intelligence and keep your own stupidity and ignorance out of the picture. I'm not even a Leaf fan but I truly appreciate the quality they put on the ice every night. |

Trips - work related mostly but spent about 12 days with the family in Quebec City, Prospect Bay and Cameron's Beach in August.
Business sold to a big U.S. company...now feeling the pain of American corporate life. No choice right now, but hoping things get better in 2019. |
