Stanley Cup is a biotch to win...that's why it is such a great achievement. Need pretty much everything to go right...including lady luck.
- Woderwick

Luck plays a part of it.

Either team could of won in the NSH/Pitt series.

Just to clarify I meant Tampa's current core has not won a cup. Dave Andreychuk was captain when they won the cup...

A bigger issue was Kuznetzov going from playoff no-show to elite superstar. Holtby also played his best come playoff time.

oh, yeah, i don't use comma's, apostrophes, capitals, or much correct punctuation..

but spelling is pretty straight forward. everyone's different. my writing reflects my speaking, usually.

I failed gr.9 english lol... mostly due to not paying much attention, got a 90% in summer school tho

My aunt in TO ran the english department in the largest all girls catholic school in Canada.. She drilled a bunch of poop into me.. And her son has a (frank)ing Ph.D or whatever in 14th century english.. haha..

what im saying is im not one to judge and im only kidding.

I am growing tired of hearing about our D. What if we have our 3 centres playing great almost every second of every game. WE will be a female dog to match-up against in a 7 game series.

All I see on twitter is

"I would give a lot for Willie, I would even give up Tanev...but Petterson, Horvat, Boeser, Virtanan are untouchable"

- Santo_44

I guess some have a completely different opinion of what "a lot" is, than I do.

Forwards play D too...the difference between elite teams, and the rest of the pack. Still, an upgrade should be a priority - that's how it's supposed to work. Just don't force the issue and make a mistake. I also think team chemistry is vital, so make those changes with everything in mind.

Forget who the NHL'er was who said - they throw everything at you to get you signed as a free agent, then the very next day, they start looking to replace you.

Just hired a young lad at work and he's been out every weekend...some beauty photos of snow on the ground behind him, and snow falling while holding a 48 incher.

wheres this?

I want to eventually move to searchmont/batchewana area some day.. Theres literally everything to fish around there including monster musky in Goulais Bay.. Atlantic, coho, steelhead, chinooks all in the Soo.. Beautiful fly-fishing-esque rivers full of brookies..

He likes Nip this time of year. I told him to try Nossi as well as it's right there and more sheltered if it gets windy - surprised he's never fished it. Musky are a pain in the ass in that lake. I've had 50's on with regularity, humbugging my walleye fishing.

I'd love to trade Horton's dead cap for someone like Clarkson. He's exactly what this team needs

Callander Bay on Nip is where i grew up fishing.. That lake has changed so much since i was a kid.. I can't speak to it's fisheries anymore, but it was fantastic growing up in Callander. The MNR even netted a Musky that bottomed out a 70lb scale. I used to swim in there all the time lol.. kinda crazy when i think about it..

Nos is not my favourite lake.. My parents have a cottage on Nos.. It's completely fished out of giant musky.. You'll catch 50 hammer-handles before you catch a big one. Fun lake to sea-doo around on tho

If you really wan't have fun with musky, Chalk River/Petawawa area offers some good opportunities..

They've honestly been a pleasant surprise. Even though we're still allowing too many shots against per game I I think even a guy like Ozhiganov hasn't been terrible. Zaitsev has been steady and as long as we keep scoring and Marincin doesn't somehow make a comeback we'll continue outscoring everyone.

I actually don't mind the shots against. Not often do I feel they are in a really dangerous spot.

Leafs must give up the most amount of shots to opposing defensemen in the league. That's by design

Tanev for Willie girl

sure

Tanev for Nylander...

just remember the Canucks will send Virtanen to keep Tanev company, and the Canuck's 1st round pick in 2019.

and the Canucks can retain 2.0M of Tanev salary - 'cause he's likely to only play a 1/2 to 2/3 of the season

I think that might work.
