The Wild are in hot pursuit of a superstar. There's rumblings that Fenton is talking with Dubas about a trade for Nylander. Dubas is asking for Dumba and a prospect, likely Lodnia or Bitten - Arctic_AARDVARK
I don't think Dumba's the guy we need. And a lot of his problems are (apparantely) his hockey iq. I don't know this because I don't watch MIN play but just my two cents. There are other guys.
Watching the Hotstove tonight, and they're saying that a lot of teams are willing to pay 7 and a little above for Nylander. To be honest that's more or less what I always thought it would be with him anyway. Sure, I was hoping for 6, maybe 6.5, but even if it's 7 per on a long term deal that's not even that bad of a deal. We'll have the ability to move him in the event of a cap constraints.
I dunno boys, I like that Dubas understands how important this coming cap crunch is, especially with Marner looking like a 10m$ man, but I'd sign Willy at 7y/7per. I don't necessarily see him declining in that time as he's a legit talent and at that cap hit, if he does take off and become a true star, he's an asset at a good cap hit. - AngryWhiteMale
he'll get his 7 mil x 6 and the Leafs will get a lower cap hit after this year.

Also, I'm the one guy on this site apparently who loves the divisional playoff format. I think you tweakers will just female dog about anything cause you have sand in your vajayjays. If they changed it to 1-16 everyone would be tweaking about how the bottom seeds get destroyed by top seeds so the first round isn't amazing anymore and they're aren't enough playoff rematches. You Richardfaces are just addicted to complaining, bunch of squawkers from Squawkerville holy (frank)balls
PS Nylander rules - Zezel
Uh?
1st round has always been great, long before this stupid change they made.

Reading all the comments and wow! What a bunch of ignorant useless blow hards so many of you are. You have a team that, with a few tweaks and an addition here or there, is a top cup contender. Yet so many of you can only find fault and become picky little ass kissing complainers. You're like a pack of wolves out for a kill and you don't care who gets killed - even if it's your own team.
Embrace your team. Shut your damn mouths and make comments based upon intelligence and keep your own stupidity and ignorance out of the picture. I'm not even a Leaf fan but I truly appreciate the quality they put on the ice every night. - Aetherial
That Rangers game. Why were Zuccarrello and Skjei healthy scratches. Are we getting a terrible return for Nylander? - PatC80
Skjei was a healthy scratch because he's been quite awful last few games and coach Quinn thought he might wake up by watching a game from the stands...
Mats Zuccarello has a groin issue. Last time he was a healthy scratch was in October '13.
