Since research is NOT a prerequisite in order to post on here I will add what I've learned from my sources. There's talk that Pulijarvi is coming to Toronto for Nylander, a 1st, 2nd, 3rd round pick. Leafs may need to sweeten the pot and add a player who could have a huge upside if he develops. Someone like Marner. Pulijarvi for Nylander, Marner, a 1st, 2nd, 3rd MIGHT get Edmonton at least thinking about a deal. Leafs may need to sweeten the pot by throwing in Kapanen. So the deal would look something like Pulijarvi to the Leafs for Nylander, Marner, Kapanen, a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd round pick.

I could see a Puljujarvi for Sprong swap. The pens would probobly need to add a C level prospect or a 4th rounder (or something) since JP has at least proven "something" in the league. But, then again, maybe not...it is GMPC we're talking about.

He'll, maybe the Pens could move Sheahan and bring in Spooner while they're at it. Actually, the Oilers may add to get a shut down center of Sheahans caliber lol

Jesus Christ man.......pulijarvi is worth WAAAAAAAY more than sprong. Pitt is adding a hell of a lot more than a 4th rd pick to that deal.

One is an unproven late 2nd rd pick.....the other is a younger, better, more proven 4th overall pick (who’s probably already a star if he was drafted by another organization)

2) Jarmo Kekalainen very famously passed on this player barely two years ago. Where is the motivation for Kekalainen to move assets for a skater that is developing the way he anticipated he would? He didn't chose Pierre Luc Dubois because he preferred him over Puljujarvi. He avoided the player for a reason.
