never thought i would say it, but gardiner has played really well last 10 games or so.
if he continues playing like this, i wouldn't be surprised if Leafs try and re-sign him on a contract similar caphit to zaitsev and rielly.. taking gardiner off the pp and having him focus more on keeping things simple, has really improved him on the defensive side of the game.
Zaitsev has played quite well as well - that 2nd pairing has been quite good.

Bergeron stayed in the game against Dallas after he went head-first into the sideboards. "He'll be evaluated better in the morning ... he was having a tough time finishing the game," coach Bruce Cassidy said after the contest. "It would lead me to believe he'll have a tough time playing tomorrow. But he's also a tough guy. We'll see how it is.

- Americans lime their sporting events during the day
- NBC wants a game of the week on Saturday afternoons.

When I lived in Boston, I enjoyed going to Saturday afternoon games. Run errands in the morning, go to the game, come home and nap, go out on Saturday night.
