This is probably true. Mostly because I really like Nylander.
And Leaf trades always scare me. I think it dates back to when we traded Steve Thomas, McGill and Rick Vaive for Eddie O and Secord. Could also be the Tom Kurvers deal. May also be the Steen for Stempniak trade.

Agree there, and not just for the short term. There's a few things to look at and upgrade if we can and the d is still one of them.

That said, never thought our d was as bad as some of the doomsday predictions either.
