No because you missed the point completely. You are seeing what you want to see. Flyers had 2 counts of bad luck. The goal that was called off and the Elliot injury.

If Elliot doesnt get hurt, they dont score that 2nd goal.

Without that 2nd goal they dont get an empty netter.

It doesnt fit that to me. Its no more a sport than any Drama on TV. Something that is predetermined cant be considered competitive either.

I get that Hall and McDavid never played together. I get that Yakopov never became anything. The problem is, you have half of these players for nothing and took major steps back when that team looked like they were on the brink of becoming a power house. They essentially traded Hall for Lucic.

All I am trying to say is that without the poop luck of having your goalie hurt and a goal disallowed this is a 1-1 game and we have the chance to come out with the W. It isnt what happened but there is no reason to be upset with the team after that game. They played well and it could have easily gone their way. They did beat Kinkaid 5 times but hit post instead. Its frustrating that they lost because they should have won but making changes to the roster and management isnt going improve their luck in those situations. They are in control off how they play, if the bounces go their way great, if not, all you can do is keep pushing.

I think Kinkaid settled in. I don’t take the disallowed goal or the injury into account because I feel they’re no factors. You’re right though, we do have to keep pushing along. I don’t have a problem with this point of view. We have to rally. If the disallowed goal or the injury got into the players heads, that weak.
