He's not really a darling, just far from the worst player IMO which is the rap he's getting. HE and Baer have both been solid for us and just get poop on from posters on here. IMO it's not deserved, we could easily talk of the ten or so non-contributors

You know technically, there really aren't any wingers who play 200', because mostly their assignment is hash marks to the point in the defensive zone. I mean, on occasion they might find themselves digging for a puck in the corner, but mostly they only play 170ish feet.

The guy puts up 3 rd line numbers and plays every forward position. He has a very reasonable cap hit . IMO a very good utility player.

They have been on the road 30 of 41 days. They need some home cooking.

Some players are injury prone... some just get unlucky.

Tanev and Edler out. 40-60 games lost a season on durability issues. Beartchi suffers fluke injuries. Broken jaw,,, concussion from cheap head shot....

Management needs to flush some of the injury prone players.
