Not really as most are on the lose for Hughes campaign. I'd rather we just moved up 5 spots in the standings and show steady improvement but hey...the draft choice would be nice too. - LordHumungous
Ya it's not like top5 picks are really important and our best player right now is a top5 pick, which we could really use one more of. Climb those ranks! |

Carol Schram: Richard Bachman to make his 1st start of the year as Canucks visit the Wild
After nine straight starts for Jacob Markstrom, Travis Green is tapping Richard Bachman as his starter as the Vancouver Canucks try to finish their latest road trip at .500 with a win over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. - Carol Schram
Thanks Carol.
Hopefully your blog helps to stop people from inserting Olli’s name into their 2019 Canuck roster fantasies.

He is arguably our best player. Along with EP. Safe to say they both can do things the other cannot, I think we both know who has the higher ceiling |

Do you think he's been one of the best players on this team? honestly? I think in the Colorado game he was, but in the other 19 games he's been up and down. Edler, Tanev, Bo, EP, Sutter have all played better. I do think he's a much better player, but not yet this season. |

I didn't understand your post, you sounded drunk.
Boeser has been a lot better than most others on most nights. I'm aware that he got of to a slow start. |

You might want to check in in the morning to see if watching it will make your night enjoyable. |

Huh. I've seen 3 good games. I do think he's much better than he's played, but a spade is a spade |

He did seem slow at the start, but 11 points in 13 games played is not to shabby, I think his lack of conditioning because of injury slowed his start, and is also the reason for the groin injury.

Ya 11 in 13 is pretty darn good. He looked unreal against colorado. 4 point night boosted his stats. Look, love the kid I just can't put him at the top when this team has played as well as they have. |

EP, Bo, Tanev, Sutter and Edler. To me, Boesers had 3 good games and there's been much more consistent players |

Poor Petterson, gets stuck playing with the worst forward on the team, again. |
|
|
|
Now you see why Green didn't want to play Bachman
It was a nice pass from Bachman though |
|

Bachman is great for a top 5 pick. |
