Tyler Johnson and a 1st for Bobrovsky would be a viable possibility, wouldn't it? Matthew Joseph isn't a bad second line replacement for him for Tampa.

I remember as a child, my entire family would crowd around the radio, waiting to hear the first trade deadline roomers. The living room would be filled with the wonderful aromas wafting in from the kitchen, as mom would have baked a turkey to mark the occasion.

Dad would sit in his leather chair, smoking a pipe, telling us stories about how in his day, players were sold like cattle, not traded.

Bob is a UFA at seasons end. That's way too much to give up from a TBL perspective for a rental IMO. Perhaps if he had 1 more year left on is contract it would make more sense.

Canucks flip Nylander to Habs with Markstrom, Baertschi and prospect Demko for Carey Price. Price escapes insane Montreal media/cold to his home province of BC. Habs get a couple hotshot forwards and dump Price's enormous contract. Everyone wins and huge Hockeybuzz Ratings. EK-CELLENT post!!!
