that I wouldn't do, no
I'd only trade Skeji for a young dynamic forward (like Nylander), I'm not interested in selling Skjei like he's some 28 year old pending UFA - jimbro83

but how does Tampa fit in Lundqvist the next two years into their cap, it would be impossible - jimbro83
Admittedly, Year 2 for Tampa would be dicey. They have the cap space to cover it in Year 1 by my estimates (while Cally is still on the books) but it could be ugly. We could always eat some extra cap space in the deal, but you're right, it leaves them without a lot of flexibility. |

plus, they really don't need Lundqvist, Vasilevskiy wont be hurt forever
they may need a stop gap goalie while he is out, not a very expensive one with 3 years left on deal like Hank |

You wouldn't trade him for a 1st and lets say a d prospect that could project to be a #1 pairing?
I'm not saying we should trade Skjei, just discussing what we think he would bring back. - mdw7413
So would a 1st and Ethan Bear suffice? |

is Ethan Bear better than Neal Pionk or Anthony DeAngelo? |

Haven’t seen much of those you mention, so I cannot say for certain. I just know that the Oilers organization is high as (frank) on him, and that I’d be a little pissed by such a trade. |

Quite the change of opinion on him over the last few weeks on this board. |

I think I am missing the game. We got so much snow/ice that I am stuck at work. The roads are just brutal.
Should be a fun night |

All 3 play a similar game. I'd rather have Bear than Shattenkirk. |

How long before they allow such calls to be challenged do you think? |
